Due to driver availability, we will be able to have more students arriving on time Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. On both of these days, the Black dot route will be approximately 10-15 minutes late. Green and Red dot routes will be leaving the school on time.
Due to a driver shortage, we will be continuing with doubled routes in the AM and PM. On Monday, October 17th, the afternoon RED dot route will be approximately 5-10 minutes late while the BLACK dot route will be approximately 15-20 minutes late.

There is a school closure at the Elementary for hand foot and mouth exposure. Students at the Middle School and High School that are contact traced or have symptoms will be sent home. The Middle School and High School will remain open until further notice.
Bridgeport Elementary building is closing today (10/13) for possible hand, foot & mouth exposure. All students from the ELEMENTARY need to be picked up immediately. Please do not attempt to enter the building. Staff will be outside to assist parents.
On Thursday & Friday, morning routes will stay the same. For the afternoons on these days, all routes will be leaving just after 3:00.
Early Release on Wednesday and additional bus driver availability will result in time changes for afternoon bus routes. GREEN dot route will leave at approximately 12:10-12:15. RED and BLACK dot routes will leave at approximately 12:05.

There will be NO SCHOOL for Preschool/TK students on Wednesday October 12th. This day will be designated to benchmark data entry and Creative Curriculum Training.
Starting Wednesday, October 5th, the GREEN dot bus will be picking up students starting at 7:30 am. Each afternoon the RED & BLACK dot buses will be running approximately 15 minutes late. Changes in routes will be updated through this media and students will be apprised of any upcoming changes as well by their afternoon driver.
Notices regarding transportation changes have been sent out on September 29th & 30th, however on October 3rd & 4th, bus routes will remain the same as they have been since the beginning of school. If you were directly contacted with a transportation change, these will begin on October 3rd. Changes for all routes will occur on October 5th with those changes being posted here the day before.

FALL SPORTS WITH AN ATTITUDE 2022
Bridgeport High School are having Super Saturday Schools, started September 17th. Saturdays school are for students who would like extra help on homework or want extra help on their school work to stay caught up. Saturday Schools dates and hours are: September 24th, October 1st, October 8th, and October 22nd starting at 9:00 AM until 12 Noon. No Super Saturdays on October 29th. More dates will be coming soon.
"Afters" has also started, after school Monday thru Thursdays, at 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM for students who would like extra help on their homework or to get extra help on their school work. There are some teachers who are in their classroom waiting for students to come in for help. No "Afters" on half days and Fridays. These events are open to Bridgeport High School Students only.
