Strategic Plan Improvement Goals

District items of interest:

The next regularly scheduled school board meeting is June 28, 2021 6:00 pm, MS Cafeteria.

March Enrollment = 738           Average Enrollment = 746       Our budget this year was set for 750’

Items of Interest:

Monday June 14th (Last Day of School).  This is an early release…..students are released at 10 am.  Staff, after checking out with your principal.

If you are planning to leave the district through retirement or just relocating to a different district, please let your building principal know as soon as possible.  July 1st is that last day to be released from your contract. 

Starting July 1st the district will have a new Networked Weather station that will be located on top of our high school.  This will broadcast current weather conditions in Bridgeport.  It will also be equipped with HD video.  This weather station is called Earth Networks and will be linked to all weather monitoring networks around the nation and world. 

It is time for students to turn in Hotspots and Chromebooks. 

The high school office remodel is scheduled to be complete by the end of June.

Bridgeport High School graduated 40 seniors on June 4th.

Aurora High School has graduated 7 seniors this school year.

2nd Semester Finals are Thursday, June 10th and Friday, June 11th.

Friday, June 11, the Middle School will have an outside assembly to honor students with Department Awards. 

Bridgeport School District will be offering (K-8) Summer School starting June 21st and running six weeks.  This extended time frame will allow us to help students recover some of the learning loss that has been experienced due to the pandemic.

Mustangs and Fillies are playing basketball through June 19th.

Ripen strong community partnerships.

This Friday the 11th from 9-11 we will be having a vaccine clinic for students ages 12 and up.  This will be held in the Middle School Gym. 

Graduation was this past Friday night.  The event was a huge success with diplomas being presented across the graduation stage, complete with pictures and family pictures.  After all received their diplomas the entire class turned their tassels and completed the ceremony by car parade around town.  The entire event was live streamed.  Congrats to the class of 2021!

8th grade promotion will be held this Thursday night starting at 6pm in front of the Middle School.  This event will be drive up to receive their promotion certificate, take pictures, and celebrate their achievement.
